Craft an exceptional small-lot red with the 2026 release of Winexpert Revelation. This super-premium wine kit showcases Coombsville Cabernet Sauvignon with a small amount of supporting Syrah, bringing together concentrated dark fruit, layered oak, and supple tannins. Produced in very limited quantities, Revelation delivers a distinctive Napa Valley wine experience for passionate home winemakers.
With this level of excellence and exclusivity, you’ll love your wine. Guaranteed.
Aromas of ripe black currant, blackberry, and dark plum lead into dried herb, warm spice, and a hint of cedar. The full-bodied palate combines bold black fruit with dark chocolate and vanilla, accented by peppery spice and earthy minerality. Supple, ripe tannins provide structure, while supporting Syrah adds depth and spice to the elegant Coombsville Cabernet Sauvignon base.
Sweetness: Dry | Body: Full | Alcohol: 14% ABV
Inspiration & Innovation: First released in 2021, Revelation grew from Winexpert’s ambition to create a wine that surpassed even its finest offerings. The annual October release continues that pursuit, exploring Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon through carefully selected ingredients, distinctive oak formats, and supporting varietals.
Small Batch. Big Potential: A 10 L kit produces just 11.5 L of finished wine, concentrating premium juice character into a smaller batch. This distinctive format delivers a bold, structured, cellar-worthy wine with remarkable richness and complexity, without grape skins.
Layered Oak Character: French Medium Plus oak spheres combine with American Light and Medium oak chips and toasted oak granular. The spheres are added on Day 1 and transferred to the carboy, allowing fuller extraction and deeper oak integration throughout the winemaking process.
Napa Valley is renowned for Cabernet Sauvignon, producing sought-after wines with concentration, structure, and distinctive regional character. Within southeastern Napa Valley, Coombsville offers growing conditions that balance bold fruit with elegance.
Designated an American Viticultural Area in 2011, Coombsville benefits from its proximity to San Pablo Bay. Cooling fog and coastal breezes slow ripening, extending hang time and allowing concentrated flavors to develop while preserving vibrant acidity.
The region’s volcanic ash and river rock soils contribute earth and mineral character. Coombsville Cabernet Sauvignon is celebrated for its rich black fruit, polished tannins, and refined mouthfeel, delivering both depth and structure.
Serve this full-bodied red alongside peppercorn-crusted ribeye, grilled lamb chops, smoked brisket, or Parmesan, herb, and truffle pizza. A cheese or charcuterie board featuring aged Gouda, sharp cheddar, Manchego, or Gorgonzola also complements its rich dark fruit and savory spice.
