Officially Licensed VQ-4 Shadows Squadron Patch

Officially Licensed VQ-4 Shadows Squadron Patch — TACAMO Mission, Shadow Identity

The Shadows of VQ-4 fly the E-6B Mercury in the most critical mission you've never heard of.

Fleet Air Reconnaissance Squadron 4 (VQ-4), the Shadows, operates the E-6B Mercury for the TACAMO (Take Charge and Move Out) mission, providing airborne communications relay for the nation's nuclear deterrent force. This embroidered squadron patch represents VQ-4's identity in the standard format. The Shadows name is fitting for a squadron that operates in the background of national security, ensuring that communications links to nuclear-armed submarines remain intact under any scenario, including nuclear attack. VQ-4 is always airborne, always ready, always in the shadows.

Perfect For: VQ-4 Shadows aircrew and maintainers, E-6B Mercury fans, TACAMO mission enthusiasts, and Navy strategic reconnaissance squadron patch collectors.

Shadows — always airborne, always TACAMO.
